Fourth annual juried art show, Grafton, Vermont
More than 50 top artists work in oils, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, mixed media and sculptures will be on display and available for purchase from August 29 - September 10, 2010. Displays are at The Old Tavern at Grafton, Gallery North Star and Hunter Gallery of Fine Art, all located within steps from one another in Grafton Village.
The juried collection of work
will be judged by three Vermont-based judges this year: Janie Cohen, Museum Director of the Fleming
Museum in Burlington; Jamie Franklin, Curator at the Bennington Museum and Mara
Williams, Curator at the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center. One best in show
award and three merit awards will be given during the show.
Artist Award & Preview Reception: Saturday, August 28, from 6-8 pm, Phelps Barn. Open to all!

About Grafton
This historic village was cited by USA Today as one of the most beautiful towns to visit in the US, and by the Boston Globe as a stopover for art lovers where "most shops are tastefully housed in historic dwellings and feature an upscale selection of fine art."
Grafton is an ideal setting for the serious artists to display his/her talent. This small working town of 600 already has three galleries.
About the Show
The juried collection of work will be submitted by noted professional artists from New England and the surrounding states.
Artwork will be displayed at three neighboring locations in Grafton Village: Hunter Gallery of Fine Art, The Old Tavern at Grafton's Phelps Barn and Gallery North Star. All are located within steps from one another.
