Champagne
Veuve Clicquot, La Grande Dame, 1998, France, $165
Born of a tradition of excellence and the weight of time, the prestigious Grande Dame is the ultimate expression of the Veuve Clicquot style. A nice complexity of flavors. Fruity, lightly yeasty with a citrus finish.
Veuve Clicquot, Brut, Yellow Label, NV, France, $65.00 | $35 (.375 ml)

and deeply satisfying.
Ridge, Monte Bello, 2005, USA, $180

Additional Fine Reds
Sineann, Old Vine Zinfandel, Columbia Valley, 2007, USA, $49
The grapes for this Zinfandel come from the Pines Vineyard in the Columbia Valley, a few miles south of The Dalles, Oregon. The challenging terrain and climate there produce grapes with special vigor. The wine they yield is very dark, highly aromatic, with a huge,
mouth-filling texture and a long, long finish. Every year the wine has perfect acid balance (without adjustment) achieving two goals:
great match with food, and a long life.
Juan Gill, Monastrell, Jumilla, 2008, Spain, $25
